Attempts to paint...

This is my recent-ish attempt to get back into painting. In my working life I have been creating placement print graphics for one of using watercolour to varying degrees of success.
I think I am a little too stylistically uptight to create the err "Loose" (messy? ugly?) style required by the buyer but I do love watercolour effects with pen and pencil.

Baby Quilt

As I am full term with our first baby, I thought I would revert to stereotype and undertake the usual activities of a creative mother to be by updating a neglected blog, and tend to several crafty "nesting" projects before the baby arrives. I had a couple of yards of this printed by Spoonflower and I created my very first baby quilt.
I was so happy with the results, I decided to attempt an adult's quilt and create some matching cushions.
